Juicer Buying Advice

A juicer is a home use device for squeezing juice from soft-centered, citrus fruits (orange, lemon, lime, and grapefruit) and other kind of vegetables like cucumber, carrots, tomatoes etc. There are a variety of juicers available on the market today. Some juicers are better suited for juicing certain kinds of fruit than any others. There is no one juicer that will perform every juicing operation with equal result satisfaction. So before buying a juicer, you should be sure what you intend to do with the juicer mostly. Here is a brief introduction of some of the juicers available on the market recently.

Centrifugal Juicer: The centrifugal juicer is one of the oldest juicers and it is not a continuous juicing appliance which means you can not use it in successions. After making 1-2 quarts juice, the juicer have to be stopped, and the pulp must be removed before further juicing can take place. Beside its shortcomings, this juicer is definitely suitable for juicing most fruits and vegetables.

Centrifugal Ejection Juicers: This juicer operates in much the similar way as the centrifugal juicer. There is a slight difference between this kind of juicer and centrifugal juicer. There is no need to stop the centrifugal ejection juicer during the juicing operation because the pulp is ejected out of the machine into a collection bin or jar. There is only one disadvantage of this juicer. It is the noisiest juicer among all the juicers on current market. The advantage of the centrifugal ejection juicers is that it is easy to use and clean and high in speed. Anyway, they are good for making most fruits and vegetables juices.

Manual Press Juicer: As its name hints for itself, this juicer squeezes the juice out of the fruit and vegetable by manual force. There are two styles of this kind of juice presses. One style uses leverage to squeeze the juice, while the other uses hydraulic powers to work as squeezing force. This juicer makes fruit juice better than any other types of juicers.

Twin Gear Press: This type of juicer use two gears to work together as a pressing force to squeeze the juice out from the fruit and vegetables. This appliance is most suitable for juicing vegetables for the reason that it depends on the fibrous cell wall to push the pulp through the machine. What’s more, twin gear press juicers can also juice wheatgrass.

Single Auger Juicers and Dual Stage Single Auger Juicers: The working principles of these two juicers share great similarity. But the dual stage single auger juicer can produce more juice and functions a lot better than the single auger juicer. These two types are not the best choice for juicing fruits.

Buying Tips:
Adding a juicer to your kitchen would make your life more impressive when large group of friends are gathering with kids. A cup of fresh fruit juice could definitely add pleasure to all your guests. It is also a useful device to improve your own living standard and get a healthier life. There are several things you need to consider before making up your mind to buy a juicer: first, is it easy to clean the juicer after it produces what you desired for. Second, how is the noise level of the juicer when it is in full speed operation? Third, it is fast to make large quantity of juice? Forth, what types of juice you will be making most of the time. And then, how many years can the retailer take full warranty of repair. Last thing you need to pay attention to is its materials for making the juicer body. The most popular materials are stainless steel and highly strong glasses.
